This is particularly useful against the fire, electricity, and spirit elements, all of which are at the core of certain enemies' persistent AoE attacks (namely faction contact me mages and equivalents like Arcane Horrors), and especially so against the spirit element, which chews through 50% of ordinary damage and magic resistance by default.
There are two possible points where Anders will leave the party. If you do not handle things well during “Dissent”, Anders will leave your party for good. He will appear again later but not Ganador a playable character. Near the end of the game you Perro choose to kill Anders if you wish.
Isabela is an optional companion you Gozque acquire when completing the Fools Rush In quest. She has a minor clash with Aveline that shouldn’t be too much of a problem. Being a Rogue, she wields daggers that deal damage swiftly.
This will allow you access to the rest of the house, so snoop around to find a bedroom. Once you do, you will find yourself in fight. Dispatching of all the enemies will result in a conversation with Varric.
All of that makes him a compelling but divisive character. People love Anders for his tragic angst Ganador much as others hate him for being a terrorist. In most versions of his story, I fall into the former camp. But Anders’ rivalry path, in which you Perro convince him to turn on and murder the mages he just sought to free, remains one of the most baffling contact me and cowardly decisions BioWare has ever made with the Dragon Age franchise.
You must ensure a high friendship before “Demands of the Qun” so Isabela returns to help you. If you do not, she will run and never come back.
